Thursday, May 23, 2024 @ 7:30pm – 9:15pm (EDT)

Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts Mozart's timeless Requiem, a work of great poignance and emotional depth. Also on the program is Sofia Gubaidulina's eerie Viola Concerto featuring soloist Antoine Tamestit. The composer famously said, "The peculiar mysteriousness and veiled quality of the viola's timbre has always been something of an acoustic enigma to me, and an object of rapture."
