Melanie Gunn – Past Concerts

Melanie Gunn is a contemporary percussionist, educator, and event producer located in Seattle, WA. Gunn's performance passions lie in new music, interdisciplinary collaborations, and projects that consistently center equity in music. She is the founder of the New Works Project, a nonprofit dedicated to lowering the financial barriers in commissioning new music by diverse composers. Gunn has performed with groups such as So Percussion, Talujon, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, and Seattle Modern Orchestra, among many others. Performances have taken her across the country and internationally to China and Canada.
