Violinist, Leah Froyd hails from Denver, Colorado where she has earned recognition as a soloist, chamber musician and arts humanitarian. Ms. Froyd recently graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of renowned violinist, Ian Swensen. Trading coasts, Leah entered into the Master of Music Degree program at the Longy School of Music of Bard College as a Roman and Melanie Totenberg Scholar where she was a teaching assistant to Paula Majerfeld.
Having worked extensively with the Telegraph Quartet, Leah honed her chamber music skills by performing internationally at the Rencontres Musicales de Noyers and the Nice Summer Music Academy in France. Nationally, Ms. Froyd has participated at the Castleman Quartet Program, LyricaFest, and the Lamont Academy of Denver University music festivals.
Leah currently teaches a private studio and performs in the Bay Area for events and serves as the cofounder an educational chamber series, Insight Chamber.
