LaRiche Lamar is the Director of Children's Dramatic Arts at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church (Paradise Valley, AZ). She is a dynamic mezzo-soprano, voice teacher and director. LaRiche earned her Bachelor of Music from Bowling Green State University on full scholarship under Metropolitan Opera soprano Myra Merritt, and continued her studies at Indiana University's prestigious Jacob's School of Music. LaRiche has over 10 years experience in performance and music education.

She is dedicated to the growth and development of those she mentors, which has enabled her to reach her students with humor, warmth, transparency and strength. At PVUMC, she is bringing her expertise to a group young Christian thespians called The Gospel Troupe. This group of talented young actors and singers deliver God's word through seasonal plays and skits under Mrs. Lamar's leadership.
