Northwest Girlchoir – Past Concerts

Celebrate the motion and emotion of the season – from spinning dreydls, dancing snow, and cascading “glorias” to tender lullabies and calls for peace.

The Radcliffe Choral Society joins Northwest Girlchoir Amore and the small ensembles of Seattle Pro Musica for a collaborative concert.

This family-friendly concert will feature holiday songs that celebrate twinkling lights, the winter night sky, and the beauty and joy of the holidays.

Reflective, shimmering holiday repertoire illuminated by sun, moon, and stars.

Toe-tapping numbers, majestic combined choir works, and dynamic instrumental accompaniment.

Advance choir levels perform music inspired by the lives and words of the world’s great leaders, thinkers, and heroes, including Albert Einstein, Eleanor Roosevelt, the Dalai Lama, and Mother Theresa.

Featuring the entire 250 voices of Northwest Girlchoir, ages 6-18. Repertoire will include charming carol settings, lively sing-along songs, and finely-crafted original compositions.

Over 250 girls and young women, ages 6-18, celebrate cold, snow, ice and frosty fun! Walk in the new snow with your "velvet shoes" and take a ride on a rockin' sleigh. And, get ready to sing along with some traditional carols, too. Meany Hall on the UW campus provides an expansive stage, great sound and sightlines, and a wonderful setting for Northwest Girlchoir to warm your heart this holiday season!

Northwest Girlchoir presents an evening of music inspired by the wonders of winter – fields blanketed in snow, sleigh rides and warm woolen mittens – performed by our advanced choirs, ages 11-18. Charming repertoire from Latvia, Finland and Norway; gems of Edward Elgar and Randall Thompson; and finely crafted works by Washington composer Reginald Unterseher. Winter Wonder will also premiere the newly commissioned work by celebrated Seattle composer Karen P. Thomas.
