Théodora Cottarel is an award winning French-American soprano, and has been recognized for her "electrifying" (Schmopera) performances and "beauty of tone" (Houston Press). Recently, she won second prize in Seattle Opera Guild's competition granting her the Artistic Development Award. Théodora is set to make her debut as Violetta in La Traviata with Snug Harbor Cultural Center in New York and as Elisetta in Il matrimonio secret by Cimarosa with Puget Sound Opera Concert in Seattle, Washington in 2024.

Cottarel has performed with renowned companies such as the Rome Philharmonic, Odyssey Opera, and at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. Her repertoire includes roles such as Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Madame Goldentrill in The Impresario, Cendrillon in Cendrillon, Micaëla in Carmen, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Elvira in Don Giovanni, Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Arminda in La Finta Giardinera, and Despina in Così fan tutte.
