Pianist Mateusz Krzyżowski is the first Pole in history to win 1st prize at the International Piano Competition I. J. Paderewski in Bydgoszcz (2022; winner of the award for the best performance of a W.A. Mozart piano concerto) He has given recitals and concerts with orchestras in the most prestigious halls in the world.

He began his education in his hometown at the Zespole Szkół Muzycznych im. Feliksa Rybickiego in Tychy in the class of Bożena Furmańska and continued at the Secondary State Secondary Music School. Karol Szymanowski in Katowice in the classes of Lubow Nawrocka and Sebastian Nawrocki. Currently, he is a student of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in the class of Dr. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just.

The basis for Mateusz Krzyżowski's interpretation are always the composer's intentions. After filtering them through his own sensitivity, he strives to connect with the audience for natural musical expression and creating a one-off artistic creation so that the recipient receives unique empirical impressions each time.

In recent years, he has recorded chamber music, available on three CDs: Peine et Plaisir, released by Opus Series; and Interwar Retrospections and The Most Beautiful Songs, released by Sarton Records.
