ICE is back at Brooklyn's Target Margin Theater with a new art installation by Nathan Davis, plus works based around tactile experiences by Nicholas Houfek, Phyllis Chen, & Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri.

Being & Becoming, formed by trumpeter Peter Evans, perform compositions drawn from traditional & experimental sources, improvisational idioms, notated concert music, & an array of experimental approaches.

ICE members are joined by special guests Fay Victor & Darius Jones, as well as musicians in Reykjavik, Skerpla Ensemble from Iceland University of the Arts (IUA), for this synchronous livestream.

ICE lighting designer Nick Houfek explores the role of lighting in musical performance. Topics include early 20th-C. light organs, new options for today, & his creation of a light synthesizer prototype.

ICE flutist/vocalist Alice Teyssier presents an evening of discussions & works-in-progress relating to her project on mothering & artistry.
