The SHAK Early Music Youth Academy brings 17th-century works by Salamone Rossi to life on period instruments.

Skilled students ages 13-17 play music of Diego Ortiz, Lucas Ruiz de Ribayaz, Orlando di Lasso, Salamone Rossi, Juan del Encina, and others, on violin, tenor & bass violas da gamba, harp, and lute.

Courtly dances of the Renaissance accompanied by skilled teen musicians on instruments of the time. Appropriate for all ages.
